Some of the most popular beaches include Palma Nova, Puerto Pollenca, Magalauf and Alcudia.

Although beaches are the biggest attraction for tourists visiting Majorca, one should not be led into thinking that Majorca offers just serenading beaches. There are some spectacular caves to be found all over Majorca. Of these the Caves of Drach situated near Portocristo offer the most breathtaking view to the onlookers. Children in particular, enjoy seeing the four chambers and several thousand stalactite formations lit up by artificial lights. Many tourists take a trip of the underground lake on a gondolier boat which makes the entire experience unforgettable.
